Für Flüge von und zur Insel Helgoland mit Ultraleichtflugzeugen (ohne
ELT) besteht Flugplanpflicht.
Anforderungen an Piloten:
MNM 100 Stunden als verantwortlicher Luftfahrzeugführer und Erfahrung auf kurzen Landebahnen.
Auf die Gefahr der RWY-Verwechslung achten.
An den RWYs keine Überrollflächen und keine Seitenstreifen vorhanden.
Überflüge der Hauptinsel Helgoland sind möglichst zu vermeiden.
Telefonische Kontaktaufnahme vor Abflug nach Helgoland wird empfohlen.

For flights from and to the island of Helgoland with ultralight/ULM aircraft, the filing of a flight plan is mandatory.
Requirements for pilots:
NMN 100 flying hours experience as pilot in command as well as experience with short runways.
Attention shall be paid to danger of RWY confusion.
No overrus and sidestripes adjacent to RWYs.
Overflight of the main island of Helgoland shall be avoided as far as possible.
